1974-1975: Stock Car Races in US Navi Bases

Races on 'Dirt Track', where lots of Win's were taken, but also frequently Crashs had to be encountered.

The Win in a 3.0 hour endurance race, was the top result during these years.

 1975: Andre' Pilette Racing School Zolder

Signed on for a 'Formula Race Driver Sighting' at the Formula 1 race track in Zolder. Out of 120 applicants, I managed the 2nd place & a free Formula V training. All went fine, except no sponsorship ==> No Car !!  

 

 1976-1977: BAJA Offroad Races

Built my first BAJA Race car. Due to shortage on money, I had to built the full car, gearbox, engine, ..everything on my own. Several national & international Races wins were achieved.

 

 

 1978-1979: BAJA Offroad Races

Built my second BAJA Race car. Due to the race experience, the car was much faster & better handling then the first car built. The true Climax was the Race Win of the European Championship in Spain.

1980-1983: First steps on an MX bike in Saudi Arabia

I spend 3 years in Saudi Arabia to work for an American computer company. As there was almost nothing else to do there, I started hangimg around in the desert with an Suzuki RM125 ... those days, one of the first 'Water Cooled' MX bikes!

 1983-1986: Sidecar MX Races

National Sidecar MX races in Germany. Co-rider was my brother in law Roland. This was so far the toughest sport I have ever done. The engine ... 1000ccm Yamaha !!  The co-rider is a key factor for success & Roland was absolutely outstanding!  

 1986-1989: Rallye Codriver  & Carting in Kuwait

National & International rally's in Kuwait with my friend Josef. Car was a Nissan 240RS built for the Africa Safari.

Go Cart races in Kuwait & Dubai ... Team member of the winning Kuwait Team. Int. Dubai race - 1988.

I also had my first Rallye 'Back Flip' in a VW Beatle with 145PS. 'Frisi' investigates .. How could this happen?

1987-1989: Go Cart Races in Kuwait & UAE

National & International races in Kuwait & in the UAE (Dubai). ... Team member of the winning International Race in Dubai, where the Kuwait Team took the 1st place in 1988.

 1990-1993: Mechanic in Int. MX Sidecar Champion Team

Joined Sidecar MX Team Weinmann (Klaus & Thomas ), which competed in German and World Championship races. A German Champion Title and a 3rd World Champion position were the results achieved by the Weinmann Brothers.

 1995-1996: Mechanic in Int. MX Sidecar Champion Team

Prepared the MX Sidecar bike for Rainer Dierolf , who competed in German, Intern. & World Championship races. Co-Riders were Ekhard Baur and Roland Wagner ( my former Co-Rider ). The bikes used were WASP Yamaha and the very famous

'EML Jumbo', a 2-Stroke / 2-Cylinder 'Power Maniac'.  

 1996-2002: BAJA Races in UAE ( Dubai )

Desert races on Suzuki, Yamaha & KTM were the main activities, along with frequent national MX races.

1998-2004: Rally Worldcup Races

Competed 3 times in the UAE Desert Challenge ( ..race for the Rallye Worldcup ). Also worked as a mechanic and Team manager in different Teams over the years, when I didn't compete myself.
