 1986 - 1987: My first bike ..... joking!!!

If there was a bike ........ I had to get onto it! No matter what size it was!

1988: My first Moto Bike

When we moved to Kuwait, my father wanted me to get a bike, ... not me! As he was into sidecar MX racing, the son's bike also had to be a 50ccm Yamaha 'Sidecar' bike! I had a perfect co-rider, ... my sister Lena. She hardly could walk, but sticked to the bike like a glue! Later we removed the sidecar and I learned to ride the 2-wheeler!

1988: My first '4 wheel' ride

Also during our stay in Kuwait, my father committed himself to Carting. Only a few days passed and I also had my first ride on an 'engine powered' 4-wheeler ... a beautiful Go Kart, which one of my fathers friends had built for his son!

1989: My first BMX - Race

During our vacation in Germany, I competed in my first  BMX bicycle race. I started in the beginners class and my mom is telling the story, that I always turned around and kept waiting for the 2nd placed rider! ... seems I was too  surprised of leading the race!

 1990-1997: Started my BMX Carrier

After we returned from Kuwait, I started racing BMX bikes

( Bib#2 ). I competed in several European & World Games. 3x Vice Champion in the German Championship & an 8th place in the 1999 World Championship in Norway were the best results during these years!

 1990-1997: Practice sessions

Before my fathers left to Abu Dhabi (UAE), he bought myself a 80ccm Suzuki. I still wasn't ready for racing and only used the bike for some 'Show Off'', when friends were around! But soon my first race was to come & I started enjoying the bike ... didn't finish last!!

 1997-1998: 80ccm Races in UAE

Arrived in UAE ( Abu Dhabi ) I started to practice riding in 'real' soft sand. The first 3 month were pretty depressing, but from one day to another I became faster and faster & started to race in the UAE 80ccm Championship. Missing a few races, still managed to end in 3rd position of the UAE MX Championship.

 1998 - 1999: UAE MX Champion 80ccm

Participated in the UAE MX Championship and immediate won the 80ccm Class. The bike used was a 1997 Suzuki RM80.

 1999 - 2000: UAE MX Champion 80ccm

Participated in the UAE MX Championship and again won the 80ccm Class again. The bike used was a 1998 Suzuki RM80.

  2000 - 2001: Started practice on an RM125

To properly prepare for the change to the 125ccm Class, I started to practice on my RM125. Went well, straight from the beginning. Only problem was the race  licence, as I still was too young for the next Class.

  2000 - 2001: UAE MX Champion 125ccm

Changed the class to race in the 125ccm Championship and also swapped the bike brand to YAMAHA. Still too young for this class, I received a wildcard to compete in the championship. As a novice in this Class, I could immediate win the  125ccm UAE MX Championship.

  2001 - 2002: Mountain Bike & BAJA Races

During my vacation in Germany, I competed with my Mountain in Dual Slalom Races & in Biker Cross Races !

Several race wins were achieved, but this attempt was  hobby - based only, as my main interest still is MX racing!

BAJA races in Dubai also became a new obsession!

  2001 - 2002: UAE BAJA Endurance Races

Competed in the 2002 Baja Championship for a few races with a 'Wildcard', due to an age limite for this races. The Limit was 18years and only had reched 17years. Continouse top 5 results were achieved. ( Bib #63 & #48 ).

2002 - 2003: UAE MX Champion Open Class

Again changed class, to race and compete with the 'Big Boys'. The bike sponsored by TRISTAR motorcycles from Dubai ... KTM 525MXC. Most race wins of season and at the end win of the 'UAE MX Championship' in the Open Class.

2003: Winner Red Bull SX in the City ( Abu Dhabi )

First Super Cross race organized in UAE by RED BULL. The Race was held in Abu Dhabi and and I could win the final. Price Money: 15.000,-AED (3.300,-Euro).

2004: Winter Session ... Ski Joering

Was a beautiful day ... BUT, .. don't ask the temperature!!! It was really freezy out there. We made it to the final and after a bad start, came in 4th position.

2004: MX & Team Endurance Races in Germany

Was a beautiful day in Odenheim with my partner Sigi & running in second spot overall, till I jumped into fallen rider. With a cut finger and bruces, we still managed to finish in 5th position ( 123 riders )! I didn't compete in any MX race, as it is too expensive in Germany.

2005: 4.0 hour Team Endurance Races in Germany

Was a muddy day out there in Reutlingen. With my partner Holger, we could settle in 4th place in our class ( 67 riders )!With my Team partner Heiko, we were leading the race in Odenheim till last lap (for 3hours +50 min.'s) and in final lap, my KTM stopped working .... electric!! Still we were scored in 5th position in the Class (.. from 64 riders)!
